WOMAN’S GUILD WEEK 2023 REPORT

INTRODUCTION

Receive Christian greetings through Christ and savior. We thank God for being with us this far.

We are thankful to God for giving us yet another opportunity to share with your some of the work that the Woman’s Guild has been doing.

 

GROUP VISION

Woman’s guide with a total number of 201 is the group that builds the capacity of our woman leaders so that they can be effective and efficient in the work of the ministry.

The following are the 2022/2023 parish office bearers:-

Launch of Womans Guild week 2023 was held on 28^th May 2023 at Kahawa Station Church by Rev. Joseph Mburu. It started with a word of prayer led by Hannah Ngugi

 

 

 

Preachers of the day

Preachers of the day were Mrs Muriuki and Mrs Esther Mburu.

 

Monday 29/5/223

Members from both congregations gathered in their particular churches as from 5pm. They prayed for the church, nation, families, Women ministries, guild week and any other as Lord leads

 

Tuesday 30/5/23

This was a day of personal reflection on the theme and setting aside time for personal prayers at home and at work place.

 

Wednesday 31/5/23

Members gathered in their particular churches in fulfilling the promise of planting 10 million trees. We managed to plant 8 trees in both congregation and downloaded the Jaza miti App and filled in the numbers of the tree planted.  They also did rehearsal on theme song.

 

Thursday 1/6/23

Members visited those in need, encouraged and prayed for them as well as offering their hospitality as the Lord enable them to do.

 

Friday 2/06/23

Members spent time with their families and met in the church at 5pm for practice and raised fund.

 

Saturday 3/6/23

Members gathered at the church doing to review the week activities, cleaning the church and the compound and raised fund to support the work of God. They also made final plans for the Sunday.

 

 

Sunday 4/6/23

Members gathered at the church conducted Sunday worship service and raised fund to support work of God
