Welcome To P.C.E.A Kahawa Station Parish

P.C.E.A Kahawa Station Parish was founded from P.C.E.A Kahawa West Parish.  It was inaugurated on 17th December 2017. The parish covers the area of Kahawa West, Kamae and extends to Kiwanja bordering Kanyatta University and Membley. It consists of two congregations namely; Kahawa Station church and Emmaus church. It has since its inauguration grown in membership tremendously. The Parish comprises 1 (one) minister, 15 active elders, 1 passive elder, who is the Parish Evangelist and 4 (four) retired elders who forms Kahawa Station Parish Kirk Session. This is after the ordination of 4 elders and formation of new districts on 28th July 2019.

Woman’s Guild ni ngwataniro ya atumia na airitu a Presbyterian Church of East Africa.

Woman’s Guild yombitwo na urutani wa Ibuku ria Ngai (Romans 12:11-13)

Ngwataniro ino yambiriirio ni Airitu na yetagwo (Girl’s Guild). Riria airitu mambiriirie kuhika, aria angi guthama, atumia makimioerera niguo ndigathire. Kumanagia na hau niguo yatuikire Woman’s Guild, na atumia makiambiriria wira uyu mwega.

Atumia a mbere kwamurwo guku Kenya ni mwaka-ini wa 1922 Kikuyu (Thogoto). Gikundi gia keri mwaka-ini wa 1926.

 

Guild ni yambiriirie kuhoerera na mwaka wa 1943 ikiarahurwo ni atungatiri aya:- Late Rev. Stephenson Gathii na Late Rev. Charles Kareri (Former General Assembly Moderator).

KAHAWA STATION WOMAN’S GUILD

Kahawa Station Guild yambiriirio ni atumia mari atano (5) mwaka-ini wa 1981 na makiruta wira wa Guild matekunoga na nio aya:-

  4. Late Lydia Theru (Mother to Serah Mureithi)

Nimambiriirie kuongerereka na mwaka-ini wa wa 1998 makiheo ruhonge riria makinyire ikumi (10 Guild Members). Wira ugithii utheremete na riu ni ithui haha umuthi uyu.

Woman’s Guild ni mari hama, iti na food warmers iria makomborithagia na ikamahe mbeca cia kunyitirira wira wao. Ningi ni mari na utensils iria ihuthagirwo ni Kanitha.

KIUMIA KIA GUILD

Kiumia kia Guild gikagwo o mwaka rita rimwe mweri-ini wa gatandatu (June). Muthenya uyu niguo Guild yunganagia mbeca cia kuriha cess yao na cia kumateithiriria gwika maundu mao.

Wira wa Ngai ni muingi no aruti ni anini, na wira wa Ngai ti wa tuhu.
